Bill McGarvey is a singer-songwriter based in Hoboken NJ. His music--both solo and with his former band Valentine Smith--has been critically acclaimed by the New York Times, Washington Post, New Yorker, Chicago Tribune, Billboard and Performing Songwriter. His music has also been featured in network television and feature films. Prior to becoming a songwriter, McGarvey played drums for various NYC-area bands, including Winter Hours, Who's Your Daddy, George Usher, The Vipers and The Liquor Giants.
